Patricia K. Hecht

Hecht is a visual artist that uses a geometric language to examine the repetition and routine found within architecture and urban planning. She considers the psychology behind conceptual architecture, it’s often altered reality, and the role it plays in shaping societal hierarchies as well as individual identities.

Hecht grew up in Vermont and has lived in Savannah, Georgia intermittently for the past 15 years. She holds a B.F.A. in art history 07’ and a MFA in painting 19’ from  Savannah College of Art and Design

Previous work experience includes The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), SCAD MoA, Cushing Academy, and Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently residing in Savannah, GA, Hecht maintains her studio practice while running primed.912, which focuses on custom surface prep and creative solutions.
